Three Distinct Adult Ministries

We don't believe in doing things just to do them. Each of our adult ministries serves a particular purpose. Life Groups are vital for community and doing life alongside others. Equip classes help those from all walks of life grow in their understanding of the Christian faith. Bible studies work through specific books of the Bible, training members to be better readers of the Word of God individually and in community.

Join a Life Group

We have a variety of small groups that help Christians grow  - right where they are - by doing life together. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you. Ready to dive in?

Life Groups

Life groups help provide an environment where people can develop life-giving relationships through love, care, discussion, fellowship, study, prayer, and service. They provide the relational connection people need to feel like they belong at Blue Course Community Church.

Life Groups provide an opportunity to serve individually or as a team. Life groups are safe places where people can be authentic, know they are accepted and believed in, but also challenged and helped to grow.

If you are not currently involved in a Life group we would love to invite you.

  • Loving one another through authentic community.
  • Interaction with God through spiritual growth.
  • Fellowship with each other to build relationships.
  • Evangelism to others as an overflow of a healthy spiritual life.

Equipping the Saints

Our Equipping the Saints time is focused on just that: Equipping the Saints. By "saints," we mean Christians. These classes are focused on helping people know what they believe and why they believe it.

Equip Classes

We try to pull from three buckets during our Equipping the Saints classes: Biblical studies, history and theology, and Christian living. Typically, participants in these classes are given workbooks or fill-in-the-blank books to use during the class and keep with them afterward as a lasting resource.

This winter, we have two offerings for adults: “Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions” which will be led by Ryan Cummins and Sandy Smith and “Technology in the Christian Life” led by Pastor Nick.

Bible Studies

We have Men's and Women's Bible Studies. During the Bible Studies, group members dive into the Word of God, seek to understand it, and apply it to their lives and callings.

Men's Bible Study

There are two Men's Bible Study options. Both are focused on diving deep into Scripture and having that be the curriculum. Both Bible studies also involve sharing prayer requests and praying for one another.

Pastor Nick facilitates the Wednesday morning study, and it is based on the upcoming sermon text. This allows men in the group to wrestle with the text of Scripture before it is preached and gives them unique insight as they collectively process together.

The Monday group is a Zoom option for those who want to participate in a Bible study but cannot attend the Wednesday group. They are currently working through the book of Isaiah.

Women's Bible Study

The Women's Bible Study for Fall 2023 begins on Wednesday, September 6 at 9:30 AM. We will be going through The Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer.

Childcare will be available.

Registration is online below or in person at church on Sunday morning. We have flyers available for sharing, too. Book information available at the link.
