The Gospel is of First Importance

We believe that understanding the gospel is essential not only for salvation but throughout the Christian life. Gospel means "good news." The apostle Paul captured the essence of the good news in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 when he said, "I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,  that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures." What Paul said is of first importance, is also of first importance to us. From curriculum to worship to relationships, the gospel informs all we do.
