Keith Maurer
Lead Pastor
Pastor Keith and his wife, Jody, have been in ministry for almost 40 years. They have a passion for helping new people feel like they belong and for building into the lives of individuals both one on one and in small groups. Keith is a graduate of Penn State and served on Cru/Campus Crusade for Christ for many years before becoming a pastor.
Cindy Rutschky
Children's Ministry Director
Cindy grew up in upstate NY between Rochester and Buffalo. But now, Cindy and her husband Matthew live in State College. They have one grown son/stepson who lives in Florida. They also have three “furry children”. Bella their mini-golden doodle and two cats, Lily & Devon. In her free time, Cindy enjoys quilting, crafts, reading, kayaking, & camping with family and friends. Cindy has a Masters of Education Degree from Clarion University and completed her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Lock Haven University. Most of her previous experience is in the Early Childhood field.

Tim Miller
Tim grew up in Northwestern PA where he was raised in the Corry Alliance Church. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a very young age, and while he can’t point to an exact moment in which his faith became legitimate, he can say that by 7th grade he could start to see his life and worldview differ from his peers. This is the time in his life where his faith began to truly grow, and he first learned to walk with God on a daily basis and he has been walking with the Lord ever since. He was baptized at age 16 in the Corry Alliance Church and in college he was a member of Cru at Penn State, where he majored in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. After college, he was a member of Grace Community Church in Corning, NY, until he moved back to Central Pennsylvania in 2013. He started attending SCEFC in 2013 and became a member in early 2014. Since then he has served on the worship team and currently serves as the Facilities Director for the church.
Ryan Cummins
Elder Team Chair
Ryan has been a believer since 2005 when he placed his faith in Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. Ryan grew up an Air Force “brat” and was raised in the Lutheran Church. He graduated from college at George Mason University in 2012. While there, he joined Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) and found out what he believed and why he believed it. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2015, and is an attorney in State College. He's been part of a life group at the church since 2012 and joined the church in 2014. His wife Olivia and he were married at the church in August 2016. Their daughter Claire was born in August 2019 and their son was born in March 2021. Olivia and Ryan have led a life group since 2016 and he served as Treasurer from 2018 – 2020. He has been an Elder since 2020.
Bill Simon
Bill grew up in western Pennsylvania and attended a United Methodist church throughout his childhood, gaining knowledge about the Bible from the pastors and teachers there. As a college student at Penn State, he met some dedicated and joyful believers and came to realize that he had not fully committed himself to Jesus Christ; He gave his life to Him as a sophomore and became very active in campus ministry. Since then it has been his desire to serve in areas where God has given him skills or strong interests, including musical worship, missions, and ministry to college students. Bill enjoys serving on the church’s worship, missions, and facilities teams and as a campus ministry affiliate at Penn State.
