Questions You May Have

Below are some common questions that our guests may have. If you have any questions not addressed here, please contact us.

  • Where do I go?

Once you pull into the church, you will pass the west entrance on the way to the parking lot. Since the parking lot is near the north entrance, most enter there. You will be greeted at the door by friendly faces who can help you get where you want to go.

Please note: The parking lot door is locked after service begins to enhance the safety and security of the children in the Education wing. After 10:45, please use the office doors.

  • What do I wear?

There will be some wearing dresses or collared shirts and others in shorts and t-shirts. Don't feel any pressure to dress up, come as you are. The pictures on this website aren't stock photos but real people on an average Sunday.

  • What's the size of the church?

We are a growing church of around a hundred people on a Sunday morning. It's large enough to serve you well, and small enough for you to know others quickly and become a vital part of the church. Come grow with us!

  • Do you have kids programs?

We believe that parents are the primary disciplers of their kids. But we do offer several kids programs to help aid parents in the discipleship process. We have kids programming during our Equipping the Saints time on Sunday mornings (see times above) and kids are dismissed before the sermon for optional kids programming up to fifth grade. See more details on our kids page.

  • Will I be asked...

    • Stand and introduce myself to everyone? No!
    • Give money? No. There is a offering box as you exit for those who choose to give.
    • Fill out a Welcome Card? We hope you will, but this is optional. Welcome Cards are in the chairs in front of you and can be dropped in the offering box on your way out.
  • What version of the Bible do you use?

While there are many excellent translations of the Bible, Pastor Nick preaches from the ESV version. We have extra physical copies available for you to read along and we project the sermon text as it's read. It's okay if you don't bring your own Bible, but we recommend it since that will allow you to get that much more out of our time together. If you don't have your own Bible, please let us know. We'd love to provide you with one of your own.

  • What's your worship style?

We have Christ-centered songs that are rich with content. Many will be recent songs, but we incorporate modernized hymns as well. In regards to how people worship, it is a mix. You will find some who are more expressive and others who aren't.

The preaching is expository. This means that the point of the passage is the point of the sermon. The regular rhythm of preaching will be working through books of the Bible, though there may be doctrinal series from time to time. Whether someone is new to the faith or further along, we hope everyone can benefit from the preaching ministry.

  • Will there be coffee?

Last but certainly not least, you're wondering if we have coffee. Don't worry, we have you covered. Cafe Connections is from 10:00 - 10:30 am, where you can come early to get your coffee. Feel free to bring your own cup as well, if you prefer.
